Programs Offered:
- Dental Assistant
The Dental Assistant program teaches students how to enter and succeed in this growing field. Hands-on training includes taking dental x-rays, removing sutures, administrative duties, preparing dental materials and applying topical anesthetics. Upon completion, students find employment in dental clinics and offices as well as hospitals.
- Esthetician
This program teaches students the fundamentals of skin care and the latest technology in the skin industry. Instructors place a focus on terminology and science behind maintaining healthy skin. Classes train students in completing facials, microdermabrasion, aromatherapy and many other facets of skin care.
- Legal Assistant
Students in this program learn the basics of the legal system and how to become a successful legal assistant. Courses focus on topics like business law, family law, medical terminology and criminal law, among others. Graduates of the program find jobs in private law firms, government legal offices and freelancing, among other areas.
- Massage Therapist
Students in the massage therapy program receive training that includes a holistic approach to health. Intensive and real-world training are part of the coursework and students receive certification from the state of Delaware to provide massage services upon completion. Curriculum for this program focuses on topics like kinesiology, human anatomy, professional ethics, hydrotherapy, pharmacology and other aspects of the industry.
