Earn a diploma with skill emphasis in maintenance of medical records, understanding insurance claim methodologies, and knowledge of medical terminologies and office administrative duties. Externship opportunities provide graduates with hands-on preparation for Billing and Coding professional careers in hospitals, insurance companies, nursing homes, medical group practices, clinics, and medical billing companies.
Pharmacy Technician Designed for good listeners with attention to detail, the Pharmacy Technician program provides diploma education in anatomy and physiology, federal and state pharmacy laws, and knowledge of prescription and non-prescription drugs, herbal remedies, and dietary supplements. Externships provide additional learning and training with retail and hospital pharmacies to prepare graduates for placement as Pharmacy Technicians.
Surgical Technician Earn a diploma while learning anatomy and physiology, introductory operating room and laboratory skills, CPR certification, surgical instrument setup and equipment, and patient prep training. Students should be comfortable around blood and surgery on patients and work well in stressful and intense environments. Externship experience provides real-world training in preparation for NCCT certification and a professional career as a Surgical Technician.
