Overview
Since 1981, LA College has been providing a quality education that is career-focused. During the first years, the school focused on courses that prepared students for data processing and computer skills. In 2006, however, the American Way Education, LLC acquired the facility and added several courses and online degree programs for students worldwide.

This comprehensive 16-month program focuses on the billing and coding procedures essential for working in a medical office or healthcare setting. Basic computer skills are taught and objectives include understanding medical terminology, administrative activities and organizational skills.
Bachelor Degrees
- Health Care Administration
The BS in Health Care Administration program is designed to build upon the foundation of the AA Health Care Administration program. It lasts for 32 months and focuses on the administrative duties and basic computer skills needed in medical offices and billing situations.
- Health Care Administration Management Information Systems
This 32-month program focuses on a wide range of administrative duties used in the healthcare settings. Objectives include understanding the modern health industry and its inner-workings, learning medical terminology and interpersonal skills for dealing effectively with patients and professionals.
